In today's work experience session we didn't do very well. A group of 5 went into the heart space to do I.B.D gel nails, last week we didn't have very much success so we thought if we started an hour earlier this week we would get some clients, still no luck! We once again asked about to see if we could find some clients, we even offered free hand and arm massages. I think if we lowered the price of the gel nails we would get more clients, I think this would work as not many people take spare money to college unless they need it for something.

On 19th of September I volunteered for a day at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, 2 tutors and 3 students went along including me. We did a full day, we had 2 facial stations set up, 2 pedicure station set up and 1 manicure station. we had originally only planned to do pedicure and facial but one of they ladies they had asked to do manicure didn't turn up, this gave us a chance to adapt and help these ladies further more. Aswell as these stations we had a retail table, this had all sorts on it from IBD nail polishes to Eve Taylor massage candles. I really enjoyed the day, I met some strong and lovely ladies. I Think if we were a proper salon giving our services like that, then it would also help us and promote our business, as a window  would open for new and regular clients, we made a profit and it's also a great way to get publicity for the business. During the day I retailed a total of £60 which I am quite proud of. Here are afew pictures from the day.
